Below, you will find a few guidelines for poster formatting for the conference.
Further instructions regarding setup, timing, and organization for oral presentations will be provided shortly.

Submission information

Full Paper Submission:
Abstracts submitted for consideration for full paper presentation at the Healthy Buildings 2025 Europe must be submitted via the abstract submission link below by December 11, 2024. Healthy Buildings Europe has partnered with ISIAQ’s journal, Indoor Environments, to publish a special issue focused on the Healthy Buildings conferences in 2025. If you wish to have your full paper be considered for publication in the special edition of Indoor Environments, in addition to being presented at the HB2025 Europe conference, please submit your full paper directly to Indoor Environments. Full papers must be submitted to the journal by December 31, 2025. Your paper will be evaluated by the journal editorial team, and their decision will be independent of the conference committee evaluation.-
The special issue, “Healthy Buildings 2025” will feature guest editors from both Healthy Buildings conferences, Pawel Wargocki, (Healthy Buildings Europe), Ólafur Haralds Wallevik (Healthy Buildings Europe), Li Liu (Healthy Buildings Asia), Rajyalakshmi Garaga (Healthy Buildings Asia), Jyotirmay Mathur (Healthy Buildings Asia), Rajan Rawal (Healthy Buildings Asia), and Venu Shree (Healthy Buildings Asia)

The first five authors with accepted manuscripts for the special issue will be offered APC waivers.​​

Abstract Only or Extended Abstract Submission: The deadline for submitting an abstract only or an extended abstract (not submitting full paper) is February 2, 2025.

For extended abstract: Use the full paper template but limit to maximum 800 words, can contain figure and references but can not exceed 2 pages.

Poster Format and Content Criteria

The poster content must correspond to the abstract that was accepted by the scientific committee i.e., title, authors and affiliations, etc.

Maximum size is A1: 594 x 841 mm (23.4 x 33.1 inches)

Portrait Orientation
-
Minimum font size is 14 pt
-
There are no restrictions regarding use of colours
-
Use at least five graphics i.e., figures, graphs or tables

Include the conference logo in the bottom left corner

THERE IS NO OFFICIAL POSTER TEMPLATE. Feel free to use any academic poster template, so long as the above criteria are followed.

Key Dates & Proposed Activities



Abstracts
In this initial phase, we invite the submission of abstracts only. Abstracts should be at least 120 words and maximum of 400 words in English and must pertain to one or more of the conference themes.
Authors may indicate their preferred format for the second phase: either an extended abstract (maximum 800 words, maximum 2 pages) or a full paper (maximum 6 pages).

Please ensure that you thoroughly review the suggestions provided by the reviewers and submit your paper on time. We eagerly anticipate your contributions.

Workshops/Practice Sessions
We welcome proposals for workshops and practice sessions related to the conference themes.
​
Please provide a description, in no more than 400 words in English, detailing the subject, target audience, potential workshop chairpersons, and required facilities.
Workshops and practice sessions are limited to 60 minutes in duration.
To foster discussion and interaction, at least 50% of the allocated time for each workshop or practice session should be interactive.
​
Due to program constraints, we may suggest modifications, such as combining similar workshop or practice session proposals.
